Peter Allinson, Chief Executive
As the firm’s Chief Executive, Peter has historically focused on developing innovative solutions for the running of the firm and in support of its growth. The result is a model which delivers quality advice at exceptional commercial value.
After recently appointing a Head of Operations, Peter is now increasingly concentrated on his work as Head of the Business Development team. Drawing on the experience he gained from running he firm for over 20 years, Peter works with the team to develop and implement strategies for optimising both new and existing business streams.
Peter is passionate about diversifying the way we deliver services to the real estate market. He works specifically on building productive commercial partnerships with law firms, from the magic circle to boutique, as part of our Real Estate Support and Partnership offering.
Madeleine Davitt, Senior Partner
Madeleine is a founding member of DJB and a commercial property lawyer. Her focus as Senior Partner is on both managing our entire legal team centrally and being a main point of contact to a number of prestigious clients. These include The Royal Parks, DEFRA, the Cabinet Office and more. Madeleine also manages many of our major contracts including the Crown Commercial Service “CCS” Framework.
Madeleine’s work has consistently been recognised by the legal directories and she has been awarded Legal 500 Hall of Fame status for the last two years. This reputation is in no small part due to her high standard of client care; she is described by clients as ‘a true commercial property specialist with unrivalled property knowledge’.
Madeleine is the driving force behind DJB’s exceptionally high standards of client care. Madeleine ensures the Client Directors and Account Managers provide the high levels of service necessary to ensure we retain strong partnerships with our existing clients.
Geoffrey Lander, Non Executive Chairman
As one of the most experienced and renowned experts in real estate, Geoffrey brings a wealth of expertise to DJB. He brings knowledge in business growth and development, along with his significant industry knowledge and connections within the world of real estate.
Geoffrey retired from legal practice in 2003, when he was at the peak of the profession. He was Head of Real Estate at Nabarro, recognised as an industry leader by the directories and winner of awards. Geoffrey acted for a stellar client base that included HSBC Group Plc, JPMorgan (and separately Chase Manhattan Bank prior to its merger with JPMorgan), Gap Inc, GE Capital Global Consumer Finance Ltd, London Electricity Plc, BUPA, Cable & Wireless Plc, WPP Group Plc, Hammerson Plc, Quintain Estates & Development Plc, BBC Pension Trust Ltd, Peabody Global Real Estate Partners and more.
Geoffrey then took on numerous Non-Executive roles for property companies and other organisations. For 5 years until December 2014, when he joined DJB as a Non-Executive Director, Geoffrey was Non-Executive Chairman for Business Legal Services London at Irwin Mitchell. Geoffrey has held Non-Executive positions for 15+ years at property companies and other organisations.
